Just returned from the midnight viewing of The Hobbit. And no, I did not dress up. All I had was The One Ring I got from an old Lord of the Rings bookmark and put it on a chain. I believe that small token at least satisfied the god of Tolkien nerdyness.
I'm not going to say much about the movie other than my overall opinion, for I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. I had only a few severe dislikes about the movie, but for the most part I greatly enjoyed it. And I really very much want the soundtrack.
And now I am putting myself to bed.

Woohoo a Kickstarter!
Hey all! One of my most favorite people in the world has a Kickstarter going. My sister Lizzy D is about done making a coloring book called Wickedly Whimsical Witches (I helped her come up with the name, gotta give credit where it’s due, lol!). I’ve seen most of the coloring pages in person and they’re freaking adorable! I love my sister and I love her fun illustrations. Check out her Kickstarter and help her finish making that coloring book!

And if you were hoping this was a kickstarter for one of my projects instead, well, I'm kind of watching to
Self Publishing Stuff
Happy new year everyone! I'm looking forward to 2017 so much! I have so many goals I'm excited to tackle and, hopefully, I've organized them in a way that I can get them done!
So I want to self-publish my novel "Realms and Remedies". The deeper I dig into the publishing industry, the more convinced I am that self-publishing is the way for me to go, in spite of the "not good enough for a traditional publisher" stigma that goes with it, which is untrue. I've read some pretty awful traditionally published books, as well as some stellar self-published books. In the end, regardless of publisher, it all comes down to the author's ability. Whether
Patreon for Freak Police and Realms and Remedies.
I plucked up the courage and did it. I'll offer a wider variety of rewards in the future, but I have to keep it simple for now so that I know I'll be able to fulfill what I offer.
So this Patreon is for both Feak Police AND Realms and Remedies, so fans of either one will get to see both of these projects progress more than they have on DeviantArt. I'll still be here, of course, and Freak Police will always be free to read, but I'll post sketches early on, and make videos about my art process, both digital and traditional.
I've really struggled to make time for my creative endeavors lately, and so I hope to be able to turn those projects int
Thank you for being lovely watchers!
Things have been rough the past several weeks, so I apologize for the lack of art and for not updating "Freak Police".
I want to be honest with you guys about something. The longer I've been on social media, the more afraid I am to say things. As you've probably noticed from my sparse communication the past several years. People are so easily offended, many aren't afraid to be absolutely rude, but the worst thing is that in the past there were a few occasions where I had some sleep-deprived angst. I said some unkind things and acted unprofessionally. I've had a hard time forgiving myself for those comments. I've long forgotten what they were

I once had the one ring. It came on a little stand like a mini Mt Doom, and when you set it in the stand the lava would glow. I wore that ring so often that the gold came off and it turned to copper, and the chain broke, so I used one I found on the street, and then it fell off in the river by my cabin and search as I might, I could not find it again. It and its chain also used to leave nasty green marks on my neck and finger. So, I'm pretty convinced mine was the actual One Ring. XD
