I plucked up the courage and did it. I'll offer a wider variety of rewards in the future, but I have to keep it simple for now so that I know I'll be able to fulfill what I offer.
So this Patreon is for both Feak Police AND Realms and Remedies, so fans of either one will get to see both of these projects progress more than they have on DeviantArt. I'll still be here, of course, and Freak Police will always be free to read, but I'll post sketches early on, and make videos about my art process, both digital and traditional.
I've really struggled to make time for my creative endeavors lately, and so I hope to be able to turn those projects into a source of income so they can become my first priority. I would appreciate your help oh so much! Heck, I appreciate you no matter what, because I'm so happy you come and look at my art and silly characters. You're all really so awesome!
Oh, and I'll post a little thank you song every month. You don't have to watch it, ha. I'm so awkward.
Anyway, here's the link to my Patreon. www.patreon.com/gingeropal
Thank you all for sticking with me over the years!

Woohoo a Kickstarter!
Hey all! One of my most favorite people in the world has a Kickstarter going. My sister Lizzy D is about done making a coloring book called Wickedly Whimsical Witches (I helped her come up with the name, gotta give credit where it’s due, lol!). I’ve seen most of the coloring pages in person and they’re freaking adorable! I love my sister and I love her fun illustrations. Check out her Kickstarter and help her finish making that coloring book!

And if you were hoping this was a kickstarter for one of my projects instead, well, I'm kind of watching to
Self Publishing Stuff
Happy new year everyone! I'm looking forward to 2017 so much! I have so many goals I'm excited to tackle and, hopefully, I've organized them in a way that I can get them done!
So I want to self-publish my novel "Realms and Remedies". The deeper I dig into the publishing industry, the more convinced I am that self-publishing is the way for me to go, in spite of the "not good enough for a traditional publisher" stigma that goes with it, which is untrue. I've read some pretty awful traditionally published books, as well as some stellar self-published books. In the end, regardless of publisher, it all comes down to the author's ability. Whether
Thank you for being lovely watchers!
Things have been rough the past several weeks, so I apologize for the lack of art and for not updating "Freak Police".
I want to be honest with you guys about something. The longer I've been on social media, the more afraid I am to say things. As you've probably noticed from my sparse communication the past several years. People are so easily offended, many aren't afraid to be absolutely rude, but the worst thing is that in the past there were a few occasions where I had some sleep-deprived angst. I said some unkind things and acted unprofessionally. I've had a hard time forgiving myself for those comments. I've long forgotten what they were
I'm my own worst critic. Yes indeed.
So I've been feeling stuck. I've felt this way for years, actually. I know very well that while my art is good, it's not really great. I just can't seem to achieve a "professional" look.
What is it about my art that keeps it from looking professional? What can I do to improve it? I spent thousands of dollars and hours at university trying to attain an attractive style, and although my skills were enhanced there, the attractive level of my art appears to have stayed the same. Professors looked at my final works and said they were great and there's nothing they would change. That sounds nice, but yet they never invited me to submit my art in
