this is not very romantic

Dave, don't you know that she sees this as a challenge, not a form of affection?

There's a story behind this. This morning as I was browsing DevArt I noticed (as I always do) that a TON of the artwork I find here is saturated with romantic stuff, and "shipping" characters. I have very few romantic things in my gallery, at least that I can recall. So today, for my warm-up drawings, I decided to turn on some love songs and draw some romantic stuff of my characters.

And this picture is what happened. I think there is something wrong with me!

It doesn't help that Tiffany has never loved Dave and, even though Dave is head over heels for her, he is also mentally unhinged, and isn't very good at the "starting a relationship" thing.

So in the future I shall try harder to make stuff that's actually cutesy and romantic or whatever, just to PROVE I like romance and can sort of kind of take it seriously. It also might help to choose less-insane characters for the subject.
