Hiya! I can't recall whether or not I have completely spammed you with messages of me rambing incoherent sentences of love regarding your art, but allow me to do so once more.
I just wanted to let you know, that your art and stories and characters are absolutely fantastic! I have come to love them just as much as any other fantasy/superhero story I've ever known (possibly even more so than, dare I say It? Harry Potter, which basically WAS my childhood) And I've been feeling uberly depressed lately because of reasons, and when I was feeling low, I got on dA for a few hours just going through all your art and comics and they made me smile and laugh so much that I feel a million times better!
I seriously love your art, and cannot wait for "Realms and Remedies" to be published! Really, I will weep a thousand tears until it is published. ;)
Anyway, thanks for being awesome!!!

I keep your messages in my inbox so I know exactly where they are because I like to read them when I need motivation or when I'm totally hating my art.

...just in case you were wondering why I don't respond very often, that is the honest-to-goodness reason why. And I'm bad at replying to comments anyway, but yours are among the ones stay in my inbox for eternity and I read them often.

Your comments mean SO MUCH to me, and I'm extremely grateful for you and your kindness and support! I hope things look up for you, whatever the reason for your current low is, and I wish you the best, because you are so totally wonderful! :glomp::hug::la:

Really??? Well that just totally helped my feel goods today! Honestly, I just thought you probably thought I was annoying and telling you how much I love your art....

I'm really glad that I've been able to help motivate you, then! It always makes me feel good to know that instead of hurting people I'm helping them. And thank YOU so much! You're just so sweet!

And thanks for the watch too! Now comes the part where I feel ever-so-slightly embarrassed because my own art is absolutely terrible, and one of my favorite artists has to find that in their messages.... ;)

I rather liked the old moniker, but if the new one makes you happy, good!

I mostly changed it for business reasons. I'll miss the old username.

Hey, I saw about Dundee on your Tumblr. :( Have an internet hug. I too know what it's like to lose a cat after many, many years, so I feel you. Also, poor Orange must be desolate. :(

Yeah, I kept thinking about your cat that passed away last year and how I had no idea how to comfort you. Now I know that there was no way I could've because (at least this was my experience) nothing anyone said helped me feel better. I have to get over it on my own. I'm not crying anymore, although I do get choked up whenever I think of how helpless he looked wrapped up in a warm towel on the way to the vet (the last time I saw him), and I can't help but compare it to when we wrapped him up in a warm towel to bottle-feed him when he was a helpless newborn kitten.

It was really painful to watch him go. The vet guessed that some of his organs had shut down, because the change in Dundee's behavior was really sudden, and he was practically dead by the time we got him to the vet. Now he's planted under a cute lollipop crabapple tree Dad bought for just for him, and now his furry-purry soul is more than likely emptying a linen cupboard somewhere in heaven, making a cat nest out of clean bed sheets for himself and his siblings that went long before him. Such bad cute kitties!

We made sure Orange knew Dundee was gone so he didn't cry a lot or run away to look for him (because they'd do that for each other whenever one went missing). He didn't eat for a while, and sometimes he still mopes in the greenhouse where they slept. BUT! He's eating now, and he purrs when we pet him, and he lovingly trips us and gets in our way as we try to work. Orange, unlike poor Dundee during the past few years, has remained extremely healthy and fat and fluffy, so we're hoping he'll be with us for a few years more. We're watching him really closely for signs of depression, though, because this year has been such a black one for our family and we couldn't stand to have another tragedy as bad as losing the other kitty.

Wow, I went on! Thank you for the internet hug and for reading my emotional emotionalness, it's greatly appreciated!

Speaking from personal experiane here. I've had two cats die in my life, once I knew since I was tiny....
...but I think it was better having to have a body to cry over....rather then have the cat go missing randomly. That happened too.

Anyway, I've felt that pain. Internet hug.
